Making its much-anticipated debut in the American market for 2024 is the Honda XL750 Transalp, a middleweight adventure bike equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels and ample suspension travel. Nestled between the entry-level CB500X and the liter-class Africa Twin in Honda’s current lineup, how does the Transalp fare?

To find out, we took it for a two-day, 250-mile test run amidst the vibrant autumn foliage of central Pennsylvania. Our route included the rugged Section 4 of the Backcountry Discovery Routes BDR-X PA Wilds and winding backroads around State College.

As soon as Honda offers the white here in the US, I'll buy one.

I do wish we had the option for the blue and white.

Great vid. Mine arriving tomorrow cant wait. Even thought im in uk i wanted a black one had to wait a extra couple of weeks for it. The honda dealers here told me its 93hp and usa ones 83 ? Prob emission reasons but i have noticed a visual difference in Europe and usa models, usa has one hole at exhaust with removable baffle europe ones have two hole and none removable. Maybe just remove your baffle and be the same power as ours 👍 anyone have any thoughts on this ? If i was in usa i would not be happy with losing 10hp 🐎. Hope this help my American friends 😃.

I am positive it's an excellent bike, but when you got to remove a fuel tank to do an air filter change, that's an issue. From what I see, it takes a bit of work.

Hi your title says 2024 Transalp but you open by saying you are testing the 2023 model.
What are the differences between the 2023 and the 2024 please. I live in Europe so I imagine there may be some subtle differences

Looks like a great bike but did I hear right that you're happy with 2, 000 miles of use from those Bridgestones?

I'm seriously considering this bike in the spring, but if KTM is offering the 790 adventure at the 10 grand price point, I will probably opt for cruise control and superior electronics.

What type of skid plate and crash bars are those?

i ve seen tons of reviews of tenere700, vstrom800 and this new transalp, couse if everything go well, next spring i ll buy a new bike.mostly in europian videos couse this bike its many months available in europe.i have to mention, that americans are more honest with this bike.and they like it more.and they dont find so many bad things.i like u.s. youtubers reviews.i guess americans are not so fussy
