Such a good issue. Oliver working with Batman would have been great here. Batman would definitely be my ace here. Wild having Hal Jordan in this role, but great point here. Barry definitely would have gotten away for him to die this way is almost more disrespectful than Hal Jordan actually doing it.

There is no way that Flash could be caught that easily! He can move faster than Hal could think up a construct! Between this and his dying in Injustice so easily I'm really hating the disrespect DC is showing to one of the fastest beings in the Universe.

That's the problem with Flash, he's so OP and his powers are so wide and varied they always have to kill him off in order to tell certain stories :(.

I really enjoyed how the Bat family interacted in this story

Hal Jordan causing the apocalypse like he's parallax again, is my favorite thing ever.

Actually, in the comic Hal told Barry to be still, basically hypnotizing him into submission.
That is a vampires power after all, so that's how he kept Barry from escaping., but it was done subtly and the writer must have assumed more people would catch that.

How to stop the vampires, recruit Superman to melt them with his heat vision, John Constantine for Magic, Swamp Thing to create endless wooden spiked, Green Arrow to shoot the wooden stakes with arrows and Plastic Man because he is just a badass

"Didn't you know, inviting a vampire into your home renders you powerless" -The Lost Boys, Batman invited these people into his home rendering all of his vampire detection methods USELESS you'd think "The World's Greatest Detective" would've done some DETECTIVE WORK and realized what a mistake he just made. Batgirl (Orphan) doesn't have an inch of skin showing on her entire body and when she touches that useless cross SHE'S IN A DARK CAVE out of the sunlight I'm not saying she a vampire but it's awfully suspect.

Flash is getting killed off at the start a lot recently. Many of these plots can't run with him active.

Vampires are dead right? So how can a Green Lantern be turned into a vampire? Wouldn't the ring leave him as soon as he died? It seems as though at the very least the ring will report his change in status to the guardians, who would likely inform the other Green lantern's on earth like John or Guy.

It’s stupid how Flash was killed this early. But I also found this interesting. It sets the ground for this story. That anyone can die. Even the main characters (Like Superman or Batman or Green Arrow.) could die. It reminds us that these characters are still vulnerable
