First try at a guide video, a bit rushed but I feel it went ok - let me know what you think!
Any suggestions, criticisms, thoughts and advice are welcome

it may be usefull to upgrade 1 lvl of overcharge in the beginning, as your overheal and mana regen wont apply on your ally that you are tethered to when you are at full health and mana. You can use the overcharge to damage yourself and deplete your mana a little, so that your ally will still be healed!

Great basic all round guide for io, great stuff :)

Indeed - although it becomes more obvious due to the relocate icon on the minimap when Wisp is ulting, wisp does act great as a pseudo-blink dagger for heroes such as sand king, tidehunter and enigma. Tiny also benefits greatly from a wisp, as he moves at nearly max movement speed (i.e. 522) when he is tethered, assuming he has phase boots, and the attack speed from overcharge allows him to pour the damage on, since when Tiny levels Grow, his attack speed slows down, but not his base attack time

Whisp (IO) Is a really good healer too, as the target get 1.5x wath you get, for instance a salve instead of healing 400 it will heal 600 on the tethered target, stay in the back and heal someone as the salve wont be denied if the target you are healing is hit, you should also have noted that if you untheter with the target after using relocate it is basicly a one way teleport for your ally. Making it good escapes if someone is about too die

And as per being a babysitter, wisp is kinda weak early on, since tether isn't a particularly long duration stun 'til later, his autos are quite weak, slow and short range and his max hp is low. Once he gets a few points in Spirits he can harass enemies out of lane, as it's a very strong nuke (500 max magic dmg at lvl 4), but other than that, you have to either wait out the storm until 6 for your ulti, or use the tether speed boost to play aggressively and get kills, as it's always 20% increase

I like to go to the secret shop (my Sven partner and I usually go bottom) to get the Void Stone for 100% mana regen and the Ring of Regeneration, which grants +5hp regen, which combine to make Perseverance, which has +10 damage, +5hp regen, and +125% mana regen, allowing my pocket to have a hard time dying. I usually do this twice to get a second or possibly a third Perseverance. The person you are tethered to will get 1.5 the amount of regen that you have, so it is always better for you to

I prefer to level up Overcharge and Spirits and leave my Tether at level 1. Pocketing a Sven allows us to wreck all the enemy heroes together because of his ability to stun, his ability to grant extra armor and movement speed, my tether+overcharge to make him an immortal DPS, using my relocate to teleport to spawn to heal up if we are low and then reappear ready to dish out more damage, and my spirits to keep enemies from escaping without getting dealt my 500 damage worth of spirits

IO works well with ursa too... the extra mobility and regen allows him to dive very early and do roshan at lvl 1

It would help to put one point into overcharge early so that IO can damage himself in order to heal through tether... IO on full health/mana cannot heal anyone, so he has to take damage and the overcharge is relatively safe...
Tether gives 150% regen on IO to tethered unit so in fact its almost always better to heal IO and not yourself (with the tether of course)
