Sulawesi has a lot of unique animals. Being located between Wallace and Weber line, we stand alone during the ice age without being connected to Asia or Australia. We have pygmy tarsier, Anoa, Babirusa, Maleo, Kuskus bear, and maybe more that we are not aware of.

Pretty sure some of those pictures of that turquoise monitor is actually a blue tree monitor, a rare variant of the tree monitor. Not as rare as turquoise monitors though-- just need to point that out. They're both beautiful.
