I live in Fredericksburg. Thanks for spotlighting us. Great place to visit! Only 54 miles from DC and 48 miles from Richmond VA. Tons of historical places to visit and had some amazing restaurants.

Even as someone who lives in and hates virginia i gotta say i love downtown fred i could spend a whole day doing anything down there but then again i love rivers antiques vintage and books and ice cream😅 obvi go to bennys for pizza too

I have been there a few times and it is an OLD town for here in the U.S.A. There is a ton of history and character to it. Not exactly a tourist attraction but you can spend some good time looking around.

I live around here. The civil war houses from the 1800s are stunning. I know a guy whose house sits on 485 acres. It’s been passed down generations. True Virginians. Great people.

If you ever go to Fredericksburg, try bennys, its a really good pizza place with large slices of pizza 10/10 would recommend ( you might also might wanna go there during the luminarys, good veiw of the town and a great place to learn history)

From a small glimpse i could see my apartment complex ❤ old town Fredericksburg has so many private owned businesses. Pretty expensive but its a great community.

downtown fredericksburg is gorgeous btw, the lil store possumbilities is awesome and so is irish eye, also this amaze bookstore that sells used books that are being thrown out of public school libraries. they give away free books on halloween for treats on the streets.
