Rangoon Red beautiful color. When I was a kid my dad collected all the sales brochures from ford . Dreamed on those slick pictures.

What an awesome find! I have an original Walnut shifter ball from a 427 car that was wrecked when it was new. The reverse is toward you and down, just the opposite of most.

Two years and two hundred thousand dollars would fix it right up.

Whoever allowed that car to deteriorate to that level deserves to forfeit his ability to chew solid food...

Dad had an R-code 64 convertible, white on red. Says any time he dumped the clutch, whatever was in the dashboard ashtray ended up in the back seat

1 of 8 if restoration kept under 50-60k can make a little. I remember the show, this thing was way back in woods. A job just getting it out. Richard messed up and paid more then the guy would've took. 😄

Does anybody know if this car has been, or is being, restored and if so, are there any links to videos on it's progress?

How can anyone let a classic like that go to shit ? I saw them go down the assembly line in Atlanta Ga..some had the teardrop hood you know what that means..someone will spend 50, 000 to restore this one..maybe..
