Hiya has been everywhere, thanks to its big social media marketing campaign and flashy claims. Hiya claims to be better than your average supplement, with honest ingredients free from "additives" you'd find in other kids' supplements. Well...are these claims true?

How does Hiya stand up against other average supplements, like the Flinstones chewables? Is the Hiya price tag and subscription program worth it?

Today, I am giving a FULL unbiased review of the Hiya Supplements as a dietitian (and parent). I'll not only be discussing their claims, but I also review the nutrient composition, price, taste, marketing campaign tactics, and more. Buckle in....I have a LOT of opinions on this....

I'm so glad I came across your video!
Unfortunately, I had already made the purchase and received the products yesterday, only to see your video today. I spent $37 on two Hiya products, the multivitamins and bedtime essentials, which was a promotional offer, but had I not seen your video, I would have been unaware that I was subscribed to receive these products monthly for a charge of $70! Thankfully, I discovered this in time and have already contacted them to cancel my subscription. The worst part is that my son doesn't like them, and I'm struggling to get him to take these vitamins! Previously, I was giving him Flinstones, which he loved, and I will definitely revert to those. I was swayed by the numerous Instagram ads, but thankfully, your video helped me realize my mistake. Thank you so much!

Thanks for this review. After seeing so many YouTubers sponsoring hiya it was starting to make me feel like I needed it. But couldn't justify the cost so this makes me feel better.

This is amazing, thank you! I would love more vitamin reviews. Kidstar and Herbland are other brands I’d be curious about.

Spot on review. I haven’t encountered a company that makes it this hard to cancel my subscription since getting those free CDs from Columbia House in the 1990s!

my littlest avoids almost ALL veggies at all costs... is there any brand that you DO recommend? Thank you!

Another money grab gimmick. Thanks for educating on how to spot these. Any “luxury” food brand is usually a price gouged scam.

while I do personally feel that sugar is the "enemy", I'm not against a gram or 2 entering my child if the payoff is their overall well-being and health. so glad you created this open and honest review on Hiya. I was seriously entranced by their convincing marketing (was never going to bite though at $30 a month, yikes!).

Do you recommend a better alternative that is peanut and nut free? That is the largest reason why I chose this brand.

Oh man this was awesome! I’m so torn now haha, my son was getting sick constantly last year so I fell prey to all the influencers pushing these and got some. They’re gross but we convinced him to take them. He’s been taking them for a year now and gets sick so rarely. So now I’m afraid to switch him to anything else but I’d LOVE to save all that money!

My daughter liked the vitamins. I somehow subscribed to the evening vitamins and the pouch vitamins for one kid. I tried to cancel the subscribtions we didn't need and it was the experience you described to a T. I found it rather silly and very annoying, which led me to canceling the whole lot of it. Thanks for your review. I'll be sure to look outward and less down past my nose more and open to grocery store options.

Thank you for poaotng this. I just canceled my Haya after spending over $200. My kids eat good protein, veggies and fruits. They had a hard time taking them.

Hi ya,
I'm considering Hiya because they use methylated folate and the other ingredients seem to be derived from better/naturally occurring sources.
You gloss over the specific ingredients used and say it "doesn't really matter" compared to the Flinstone Vitamin. When it comes to folate, form does matter for the ~40% of people with the MTHFR gene mutation (us folks require a bioavailable form as seen in the Hiya multivitamin).
Just curious if you are even aware of this.

Omg. I literally placed my order for the 1st time about an hour ago and then see this video… well I just emailed customer service to cancel everything because I wasn’t aware of the subscription they do automatically which I did NOT like. Thanks

Would be curious about your take on Renzo. Our pediatrician recommended their iron but they are also $$.

Thoughts on Mary Ruth vitamins? We have been using these for our 4 year old. I came across Hiya as I was researching alternatives because I get lost in the vitamin world. Felt that gummy shaming hard from Hiya 😂 but Hiya doesn't seem like the one for us.

Sorry I didn’t quite understand - is Flintstones 3rd party tested and/or is Hiya 3rd party tested?
