just got the MA20DX. nice reel. going to use it for a drop pole for seabass and porgie in salt water tho. My friend had a similar Rod with the depth counter and loved it. when we troll for strippers I use the fish finder depth range and then use the counter on the pole to just be above the bottom. love this rod
