I've always wanted to read The Circle but there's no denying it is intimidating for me and my usual reading tastes! It does sound absolutely fascinating though

What really struck me about this book was its echoes of 1984. I know that's a common trope. But this book feels so plausible and realistic as to how Big Brother could happen if he emerged today.

To me, The Every really shows the tipping point that 1984 had already hit before its beginning. That point where privacy gets so far eroded, and groupthink so ingrained that there is officially no longer a possibility of a reversal.

You sound better. Social commentary science fiction, sounds interesting. Might have to The Circle first. It's hot here in the Tampa area I mean the kind of hot that knocks you out in the middle of the afternoon, next place I live will have air conditioning. Take care drink good coffee read great books.
