Welcome to the Introduction to STM32 MCUs series, geared towards those new to STMicroelectronics and our microcontroller and software portfolio.

STM32CubeMonitor provides a flow-based graphical editor to simply build custom dashboards and quickly add widgets (e.g. gauges, bar graphs, and plots). In addition, preserves the real-time behavior or applications, and compliments the traditional debugging tools to perform application profiling. With remote monitoring and support for multi-format displays, STM32CubeMonitor enables users to monitor applications across a network, test multiple devices simultaneously and perform visualization on various host devices (e.g. PCs, tablets or mobile phones). Furthermore, with the direct support of Node-RED open community, Cube Monitor also allows an unlimited choice of extensions to address a wide diversity of application types.

Is it possible to display not just user-variables, but peripheral values? For example, I imagine it would be less than real-time, but could you monitor a timer's count value (htim6.Instance->CNT or TIM6->CNT)?

If not, any recommended third party tools? Segger's J-Trace PRO + SystemView / Ozone?
