Episode 40 - Survey and Sea Trial

After working out all the trivial stuff like $$, we get down to the serious stuff, the survey and the sea trial. We were very impressed with the handling of this Cal 2-46. The survey turned up a few minor things but nothing major!! After the huge refit in 2012 we were glad for that news. We are now scheduled to close on this vessel next week. After our months long search, SV AKIA has finally revealed herself to us. We are looking forward to our first sail on SV AKIA next month as we take her from Anacortes to Foss Harbor in Tacoma, Washington. More to follow.....
