I am German Norwegian and I visited Brazil several times, I advise you to visit other parts of Brazil that are great, Minas Gerais is very good, the south of Brazil Balneário Camboriú among other beautiful cities

Hey, just a tip: "que pasa?" it's spanish, in portuguese it almost means "I wanna pass trought, or "excuse me, I wanna walk here".
Whats up in portuguese it's "O que houve?" without the "H" sound. or "Qual o problema?".

I have enjoyed traveling to Brasil for almost 18 years now, and enjoy what it was in it's natural state. I have fluent command of the native language, and have learned an adapted to their culture, and walk as a native. Please remember folks, when external influences enter and impose their que pasa, and Yo!, is not Portuguese. Yo! might not even be the appropriate address in New York, according to the individual, and que pasa may not even be appropriate in TJ, depending on who is being addressed. Also, let us remember that exploiting our people for the sake of a click or dollar, is no different than a modern day Slave Trader. Let's preserve Brasil, and it's people, so we, and our people, and our offspring can enjoy this rare gem! Boa viagem!
