Everytime I see stuff like this I remember an assault rifle that had 5 rotary barrels from an old movie named Deep Rising. That thing has lived rent free in my head for 20 years.

There's a gun called metal storm that can fire up to 1 million rounds a minute because the ammo is caseless and the gun is electric, the only moving part is the bullets.

Muzzle pressure interference would lead to inaccuracies. The pressure wave coming out from behind each projectile as it cleared the barrel would interface with the adjacent ones and reflect back towards the projectiles overtaking them and pushing them away from each other (If everything was ideally balanced).

U.S. Battleships and cruisers in the 20-30s experienced this in large scale form with their closely placed triple/dual mounts. The solution was to create a delay firing circuit so the outer guns fired and then the central gun fired a fraction of a second later during a salvo.

The problem with that sort of gun (often experienced by battleship cannons) is that if the barrels fire all at once or without enough delay the blast affects the bullets accuracy
