”The world economy is slowly healing”. I wounder, in wiche universe you found the data to suport your statement. If you by healing mean that the economy are on it`s way back to the same malignant state it has been since the begining of industrialization, you are absolutly right. The notion that the world economy in any, way shape or form, can be defined as ”healthy” is plain stupid.

It's surprising that there's no mention of the supply and demand for labor.

The provision of benefits and security are not an acts of benevolence or social responsibility on the part of companies, but rather measures that are taken to retain employees. These measures are inversely related to the scarcity of labor. The free movement of labor and capital and automation has simply made employee retention less important.
