How to Add Custom JavaScript as a Separate File in Power Pages?

Most of the time, with Power Pages, we are adding our custom Javascript code at the Form Level (Basic Form and Multi Step Form Level). With the Out of the Box Javascript with Power Pages, we have a limitation of 10000 characters. If you have a very long Javascript then it will not execute some of the lines code in Power Pages. This video will explain you if we wish to add custom Javascript reference in Power Pages as a script tag,then how can we do that?

Hello friend, at minute 2:04 you ask to click on the "Notes" option, but in my window that "Notes" option does not appear, what can I do in this case, apparently they have made an update in that window, please, Where do I locate this "Notes" option now.

Just going through this again, so, in order to make changes, you have to go to ppm --> Web files --> Open EmployeeValications --> delete the js file --> re upload it --> go back to PP --> sync --> preview. Does anyone know if there is a faster way to do this, perhaps using VS? In sharepoint, we would open the js file from assets make changes and refresh, was pretty quick.

I get a ““file type not valid or too large” so it won’t let me add it :( I saw a web template, page template, web page approach but I get the same issue, not too sure why

Not recommended.

If HTTP/X-Content-Type-Options is set as nosniff in your site settings (which is the best practice), this method wont work. And if you chose not to set this setting, it leaves your site vulnerable to XSS attacks.
