I’m 50 years old & I remember Mr. Pryor’s interviews because he was a truth teller to power & was unapologetic about it. Please have more videos like this. George Carlin is another comedic genius you should spotlight regarding capitalism and racism. Richard Pryor was a man before his time. But I am so happy we do have snipets of him speaking truth through these interviews, his stand-up comesy specials and, most importantly, the best comedy he wrote in conjunction with a Jewish guy from Brooklyn that he was not acknowledged in. The comedy is Blazing Saddles and the Brooklyn Jew? Mel Brooks. The Sheriff of Johnsonville was supposed to be Richard Pryor, but he was deemed "uninsurable" after his goings on on the set of Car Wash. Richard asked Mel to remove his name from everything, so nothing could hold the movie back and he recommended Cleavon Little for the role of the Sheriff.
