Adam, just want to give you my perspective as someone who has just discovered your channel, who admittedly is much, much lazier than you have been about addressing this collective threat. I consider myself a progressive voter who has cut my meat consumption, shies away from flying, likes science, recycles, and is thus in one of the most receptive segments of your audience. Will you please do a single video (or point me to a video) that lays out a clear tangible vision of how humans can become EXTINCT as a result of climate change? In vivid terms, what would that extinction look like? How soon might it happen? Give me a first-person account of climate change happening to the 2050 version of you as an individual, after more tipping points have been surpassed.

Call me cynical but the people you're trying to reach will not take the political and consumer steps they need to, unless you paint a very, very clear picture of what may happen to them (allowing that it's impossible to confidently predict some specific world-wide event / pattern in human society decades from now).

Too many climate communicators are scientists at heart and seem to stick to the empirical data without painting a picture of what 3C LITERALLY mean for the LIVED EXPERIENCE of the selfish Western chunk of flesh in a skull that is beholding them. We are busy, we are distracted, we are privileged Westerners, we assume someone else will take care of the problem. We need a slap in the face and generalized extrapolations of ambient metrics are not that.
