Thanks for video. I bought the Ryobi $99 2 battery kit with charger and got this pruning saw for free. It's better than I thought it would be and has now replaced my reciprocating saw with pruning blade for those light duty jobs.

Did you add any oil to the chain manually? How does this compare to some of the other pruning chainsaws out right now? How would you rate it on a 1-10 scale

I'm glad 2 years ago I scored the 8-inch Big Brother real chainsaw for free a purchasing Only The $99 battery kit. And you can actually buy a replacement chain for it, unlike this 6-inch version. Ryobi doesn't even sell replacement chain for this proprietary, one-off chain size.

Can you show how you lub this oil less chainsaw? I just bought one and learned last night I put the chain on backwards lol but going to buy a little bottle of oil to apply as needed to the chain. I think I had the knob too tight trying to get the chain tighter. Attempting again tonight lol

FINALLY! 2 things I've desperately wanted in my truck were a hassle free Chainsaw that doesn't take too much space and a jump box. Still waiting on the latter Ryobi....

Why not just use a sawzall with a pruning blade?

Not sure how true, but someone says this chain fits. 25AP038G / 25AP038 / A38 Oregon chainsaw chain 6" loop. Ryobi has 34 links. Oregon chain has 38' Would like to know.

How do you clean it? Even though it doesn’t use any oil, Do you recommend applying any lubricant?

I would imagine this is much better than gas powered. At least it will work when need it. Unlike the gas powered chainsaw.

Is it the luck of the draw or what? Some other dude did a Ryobi review on a mini and after a few cuts it quit. Plus it would've start up again even using a different battery. Took it back for a refund.
