BOTW should have had mini Yiga Clan hideouts scattered around the map, maybe with a key or password to enter. Every time you defeat a Yiga member on the road they drop a map/key/clue to their hideout.

I personally love the sparseness of Breath of the Wild. It produces an atmosphere of calm as you play, while at the same there is the realisation that that sense of calm came at the price of countless lives. If not fully apocalyptic, it is post-cataclysmic, and rather than the game trying to be overtly grim to reflect that, there are subtle flavours of grief and hope in the quiet.

I do think the quests need an overhaul though. Bit more variety and challenge, less fetch quests, more inspired rewards than just a handful of rupees most of the time, which you have absolutely nothing to spend on towards the late game.

Better dungeons and bosses as well. I loved the shrines, but the Divine Beasts could’ve been better. Then there’s Ganon. I spent 30 minutes collecting all the right gear. I got fully into character and prayed at the Temple of Time before going off on this final mission from which I may never return. I’d played 210 hours at this point. So much build up, then it was over in 3 minutes. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

While more of an open universe game, I think Starlink deserves a shout out here. The way you can drop down onto planets, explore them, then fly up through the stratosphere and continue exploring seamlessly is super impressive.
Improvements:
A) planets needs more wildlife
B) more quest variation
C) Pie-in-the-Sky - exit the ship

This is a list that everyone needed. Such beautiful gems needed to be shout out in the world!

I wish BotW 2 would have multiplayer. Or even helpers. They had wasted that chance on the first game. I was actually quite annoyed that there is this huge calamity, every major area had warriors not helping you. They even had NPCs fighting but they didn't make it that you can hire their help. Or even just quests where they will help fighting. Damn it.

BotW is as populated as it needs to be. The mystery is alive. You can spend hours upon hours of playing without even thinking about opening the map to check where you are. And that's an amazing achievement that no other game has ever offered. In the witcher exploration is forced on you in a way. You open the map and you feel overwhelmed by the crazy amount of information. All these questionmarks waiting to be explored. You even find yourself creating these invisible paths in your head about the optimal route you gonna take to explore all places. And that's a fact that doesn't complement at all the game. I'm a huge fan of both but BotW is superior in every aspect. Pure joy. Hands down the best game humanity has witnessed. At least till now.

BTOW is one of my fav games of all time.... but What I would change is more variants of enemies. I’m a little bored of just different versions of goblins.

The outer worlds is a great game im playing on my pc with xbox game pass, but im for sure gonna buy it on my nintendo:)
