Demystifying Covid-19: Dr Randeep Guleria & Dr Nicholas Hart Decode Covid Second Wave In India

Coronavirus Cases: India on Saturday registered over 1.73 lakh new Covid cases, the lowest in the past six weeks, pushing the coronavirus caseload in the country to 2.77 crore. This is the lowest rise in the past 45 days. India had logged 1.61 lakh Covid cases on April 12. A total of 3,617 Covid positive patients succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll in the country to 3,22,512. So far, 20,89 crore have been vaccinated against the Covid. India has administered a total of 30,62,747 doses in the last 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, 2,84,601 patients recovered from the infection. There are 22.28 lakh active Covid cases in India, a drop of 1,14,428 in the past 24 hours.
