I wish there was a way to adjust the channel volumes with pads veritcally. This would turn the pads into an almost motorized fader style workflow.

Mutemode needed, shift+mute for example. So you could mute/unmute tracks with one push of a button.

That moment you relise you have to hit the left button 20 times to get to drum a certain drum/instrument JUST to PAN or simply Turning down the volume....
Begining to think this was a mistake heh...
quicker to just look up and use my mouse at this point.

Was a fun toy while it lasted but bigger projects require more advanced samplers.

Hey people I have a question. I want to be able to perform my tracks live but in order to keep it interesting, I'd need to adjust multiple parameters and launch clips simultaneously which I don't think is possible with the Push 2.

As an example: I want to for instance gradually let more frequencies come through my synth pad whilst increasing the reverb on my hi hat clip and then launch my 4 by 4 kick clip at a point where I'd turn off the reverb on the hi hats.

Can someone guide me as to what equipment I'd need to be able to execute these more complex actions? Also I get it is possible to do so on the Push 2 but that would mean recording a hi hat clip that has increasing reverb etc etc. I reckon that takes away alot of the "live" aspect from playing as I want to be in a position to improvise and not be limited to the clips I've recorded.

Y'all get what I'm getting at?

pfft they should make a proper mixing surface with dedicated faders - they used a LaunchControl XL in their own demo :P

All these options yet it doesn't support cross fading, which I think is kinda weird. Not claiming that I'm missing out on this, but... it's still a bit weird if you ask me.

I kind of hate how many hidden features are tucked inside the shift button; I keep forgetting them and it makes me never use those features

You you access pan as well for individual parts in the drum rack? Or is it just volume

I got a push 2 for christmas. I feel so bad because I don't want to look like ungrateful for what is probably the most expensive gift I ever got. But I only work in arrangement view anymore, and none of this looks even remotely nicer than just using a mouse and keyboard shortcuts, and using my ancient midi keyboard to play notes. I guess this was really not made for me.

how can I set all 64 pads to different notes, effectively the same as a keyboard, for soft synths, Kontakt 5, etc?
