why the news brought a "Cuban expert" who has not been in Cuba since 1961? That is a 55 year gap.

Just remember that democracy is what one makes it to be. Here in the U.S. we believe democracy is based on the way we interpret it. Cuba is free and they live a democracy that is different than ours. Most of it due to the useless embargo placed on Cuba. Imagine, a U.S. citizen is prohibited from traveling to Cuba. The laws on the embargo states that you may be fined and jailed for it even though I haven't seen it enforced. Furthermore, based on this prohibition to travel, many Castro haters roam around repeating the internet and news media channels claiming that cubans are prisoners in their own land. I feel I am a prisoner that can't travel to Cuba on my own with my U.S. Passport.

RIP Fidel Castro, a revolutionary and strong leader who didn’t sell his country to the United Snakes of America.

LIVE IN CUBA FOR 16 YEARS IT WAS PRETTY HARD, AND REMEMBER HOW IT WAS BEFORE CASTRO. EDUCATION WAS EXCELLENT LIKE GOING TO A MILITARY SCHOOL. BUT NOW ONLY THE ELDERS WILL REMEMBER HISTORY, THEN SOON ALL WILL BE GONE.

4:35 “They don’t know what democracy looks like...” — that’s because it died at the battle of Chaeroneia in 338 B.C.

As a white American, I say that Fidel Castro was a heroic figure and that his revolution absolutely needed to happen. And I am no die hard Communist. I don't look at the label given to the system. I look at the man, the leader, and the results. The fact is, before Castro took power, Cuba was being ruled by the brutal dictator Batista. The average Cuban was practically destitute. In need of help. Under Batista, the poor were everywhere, starving in the streets, while the mob from the USA was owning casinos and clubs down there in Cuba and living it up. The Mafia did consist of Italians, but the real big bosses of the Mafia have always been Jews. And Meyer Lanskey was the biggest of these Mafia Jews. This disgusting character was owning all of Cuba. But in rides Castro to victory and seizes all of Lanskey's holdings, then boots that human slime right back to the US! Castro may have been Communist in name, but he also incorporated a lot of nationalism as well. He was no Communist maniac like Stalin. He was more sane - like Josip Broz Tito of Yugolavia. The Cubans in Miami cheering over his death are mostly all corporate slime and capitalist greed-mongers. Hail Castro!
