Hello, I have a question about the last sum you conducted. How come +42 and -60 was 12?? I understand the + and a + and a + and a - is etc. But I couldn't workout how you got 12 as your final answer...

I aam so glad some one else noticed that error at the end. 60 -42 isc18 and he said12. I thought iwas going mad. Nice one to the person below who also noticed

Essentially it's the same idea. You must use the distributive law of mathematics. I suggest you type that example into wolfram alpha for a clear answer

Well, how would you solve a problem without numbers out of the brackets? Example, (x+5) (x^2 + 5x + 6) ?
