Dane Gore-Tex Pro Motorcycle Jacket Waterproof Test

We all know GoreTex is the "Gold Standard" for textile motorbike jackets. Klim has been making jackets with GoreTex forever and its no mistake they have a great name for quality products.

There is a new type of GoreTex on the market, it is called GoreTex Pro, it has the same wonderful waterproof and durability features with the added protection for sliding on the bitumen. The Pro adds extreme protection and durability to the range.

Didn't know the brand as noob motorcyclist (obviously) I got a one time only offer from our bike shop so I got a Ragnar jacket now, also with GoreTex and didn't look any further, I drove it trough our typical Belgian summers so hail, storms, downpours name it, always kept me dry and warm even below freezing point. Guys and girls do the investment, worth every penny!!

sono interessato a questa giacca.. come si comporta durante un viaggio lungo ? con molta pioggia ci sono infiltrazioni dal collo o dalle cerniere? se non piove, ha delle prese d'aria per il caldo?

i didnt know you can ride motorcycle with hands down that way for full 7 mins. water always enter from the cuff and slowly upwards.

Riding a motorcycle in all Climates I learned a lot. here are Why I would NEVER buy this Dane jacket and pay a bit more and go for Klim instead: Not enough wents, arms specially and rear exhaust are horizontal which w backpack is 0.0, after adjusting on arms with those uneffective "snaps" three positions only! after I saw the premium price they ask for 990 euros and where is the KLIM absolutely better: heaps of wents all well positioned, 3L gore, way more protective(super fabric) D3O L2, adjustments are straps without buckles, the belt is inside the jacket and they ask only 100 euros more.
Still, I am using 3 layers system which just sucks (Lindstrands) and my next is KLIM for sure, I will spend those 1.9k in badlands combo and get much more.

7min blasting all around, so.... it is 3min of heavy rain 100kmh on the one part of the jacket.
Id you drive under rain you know what area of jacket is targeted with water, shoulders, neck, upper hand.
