Sean’s defense is nuts, he’s truly next level at striking defense. You can definitely catch him here and there as dricus and Alex proved but he doesn’t have too many holes overall. That teep to the body mixed with that 1-2 is all he needs to survive and break his opponents down. The takedown defense is typically there and if he manages to get you hurt he chases TKO’s super viciously. He’s a great opponent for a lot of these higher ranked middleweights because he’s essentially an immovable object, you gotta be someone like Alex to really crack Sean and get him out of there, can’t wait for the rematch.

I'm an Izzy fan and I didn't like how DDP's comments regarding being the first real African inadvertently turned off many people. However, DDP has shown many times that he meant nothing but respect in saying that. It was never about color. Izzy made it emotional. I still cheer for Izzy but I placed my $ on DDP

Then two weeks out from his title fight he was in NZ begging a court to be taken off a flight risk list so he could travel for work 😂 but yeah it was Strickland’s style that demolished Izzy, not himself. I think both are true. It wasn’t off night. Can’t ignore everything that izzy had going on in his personal life, the fact that he didn’t even want to fight strictly in the first place he himself even said it was not a performance he was proud of. And I do believe that trying to figure out that puzzle on his own has made it difficult for any person he has fought Alex, which is why Dricus feels that way
