I love how this scene explains the flawed reasoning of people to commit atrocities. He talks about eldians being monsters while he fed a little girl to dogs, he talks about how he has faced cruelty which is a straight lie, he talks about accepting his death when it comes yet he screams when the titan tries to eat him. This is the hypocrisy both marley and eldia failed to realise that in essence these nations are both monsters

One aspect of this scene that people may not fully realize is that the officer was looking directly into the camera -- which is us, the viewers -- as he was speaking about cruelty and entertainment. It is as though we were being questioned if we are enjoying the brutality of the show, or brutal real life experiences as well. We may not be precisely like him, but we do find some form of entertainment in others misfortunes. It may not seem like it on the surface, but what he says makes us question ourselves.

krugers demeanor is just like s4 eren, they seem so emotionless and numb but kruger is heartwarming and eren junior is heartbreaking

I literally jumped out of my seat. AOT is the greatest Series/Anime on Earth. After I finished the 3rd season, I recommend it all of my friends. Everyone needs to watch this!!!

3:14 years in the shadows, watching his superior officers unflinching cruelty towards his kind. What a satisfying way to emerge from the shadows at last, that glare says everything Kruger could have possibly said without a word.

1:24 Could just be me, but I remember Gross being drawn to be as soulless and repugnant as he actually is. Mainly his eyes, they didn’t have a glimmer and it looked like he viewed everything with weary contempt. Here they look normal, human even. They appear to be the eyes of any nice old man out in the street. But they still lack any focus or conscience. If his design did change in the anime, then honestly it’s more effective. Characters don’t need to look evil to be evil, and it just represents that Gross was human, the worse kind but still human.

All of that said, the look of dread on his face was priceless.

I have lost count how many times i watched the Owl Kruger's Attack titan transformation part. The Ost, sound effect just perfect. Absolute badass no matter how many times I have watched ☺🤗
