Love that place and it’s so good that most of the vendors are open to haggling😄

They have the most colorful stuff I have ever seen.

Glad you got your souvenirs for everybody. We went back to Puerto Palomas today. Picked up a few things. Randy insisted on buying Mexican candy for the grandbabies. Our wait in line was 0 minutes. Glad we walked instead of drive thru. That line was long.

Just subbed. Went across the border so many years ago thru TX. Prices have gone up like in the U.S. I'm glad it's safe there because I want to go back, thru Algodones. Used to live in Yuma. I miss the Southwest but not the scorpions, spiders, snakes and heat. Thanks for the video.

Really love when you do this. The pottery and things seem to be kind of pricey. I didn’t expect that. The tacos looked yummy. Thanks Lorrie.😁💕

Next time you visit a gift shop in Mexico, Cozumel, Jamaica or any of those places go into one store for one item. You offered $20 and he wouldn't take it. He wanted $25. Tell him too expensive and you're only offering $20. If he says no then start to walk out. Most of the time he'll stop you and take the $20. He would rather make something then nothing. Believe me, he paid some poor woman and kids $1.00 to make them. I use to work on cruise ships and been to these places a million times and I was taught. When you go to these places make sure you have plenty to $1, $5, $10 and $20's so you make exact change. Don't take their worthless crap. If you want to help out someone tell them in front of the guy that the place down a bit is selling that item for $xxx cheaper. They all have the same crapola. Make sure water is sealed and not just super glued back on. Check the little tabs around the rim.

When I was traveling around on business I use to love Taiwan and China. I was there for 6 months and more at a time. The street food was out of this world. A huge meal for $1.00. I had 5 cup Tupperware containers. Every Sunday I would take them to the street markets and have them filled up for my lunches. Many times I had no idea what the hell I was eating. It was always spicy and I paid for it in the END. Now the best I can do is Silly Al's

Those prices are quite high. Come here to Nuevo Laredo (across from Laredo, Tx.), prices are much less.

You'll likely get better bartering and prices in general if you avoid the shops and find an independent street vendor. I found a Los Algondones artist who not only took $20 for a $30 picture, but he also added some horses upon my request while I waited. I only had $20 on me, but guilt plagued me, and I later came back with another ten.
