Kyiv still standing after a year of war shows how badly Russia miscalculated this. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

Just want to state the obvious, there’s no practical civilian nuclear reactors that need 84% enriched uranium to produce electricity

Some like the Candu reactors can work off nearly natural uranium (below 1%) and anything above 20% is technically considered weapons grade and is extremely rare to non existent for civilian reactors. Iran is lying with literally no possible way to spin it as peaceful (again tsto)

I wasn’t expecting it. Good on him for doing it. His staff actually advised against it and suggested meeting on the Polish border, but he insisted on going to Kyiv.

Of course. A lot of orcs are unhappy about it

When President Biden announced he was going to Poland, I knew he couldn't resist dropping by Kyiv.

For those who don't know, Joe Biden was one of the few defenders of America's limited remaining passenger rail while he was a Senator. The fact that he came to Ukraine by rail from Poland is... very appropriate.

Honestly, the visit is one of the more significant things the old man has done during his presidency.

I could have sworn you said Northern Ireland fired an ICBM and I was confused how I didn't hear about that sooner

I'm a born-and-raised Utahan still living in the state, and the news that our legislature passed a ban on conversion "therapy" is news to me. Not too long ago there was still MASSIVE pushback against a ban on it. Legislation without the LDS Church's approval rarely ever gets passed, and I seem to recall that they came out against a ban only a few years ago. Either they softened their stance, or legislators FINALLY grew a backbone and voted for something irrespective of what the church says.

This is a good thing in Utah. It’s not nearly enough for the damage that my government has done to my community

Biden visiting Ukraine is another sign that we are serious in continuing to support Ukraine. The US and all it's people stand with the Ukrainians in fighting against Russian tyranny. Salava Ukraini.

A lot of foreign leaders and equipment have come into Ukraine via the railways from Poland.

This corridor open still shows just how incompetent the Russian Military is.
