I am just about to make a generator purchase myself. Had a big 8500watt semi portable wheeled version when we lived in Houston.. never lost power during hurricane Harvey and sold it before leaving Houston. Now I am looking at a Honda 2200 just because it is portable (plan to take it to the outdoor shooting range) quiet and will power enough of the house we can stay here in in the event of a power outage during the winter.

I use a smaller one like that out back at our farm running tools and such, it's very have a inverter that runs off the golf cart which is nice too.

👍 its semi broke in at the factory which is why there's a little bit of oil already in it. You can get a magnetic dipstick for it on Amazon (highly recommend). Been a great gas sipper for me. Also lightly coat the air filter with synthetic oil when you clean it.

What do i need to get to use 2 generators together?

i'd give it a few tanks of fuel for a break-in oil change. Also, if you are going to use it for only emergencies. Maybe look in to storing it with an alkylate gas. It has a MUCH better shelf life than pump gas (so it will take longer to go stale and leave bad deposits in your fuel system) and won't have the ethanol that is hard on rubber and plastic parts. Nice little unit and I hope it serves you well.
