253 - LIVE Shiny Drowzee in the Friend Safari on X! (946 REs)

I have no doubts that the odds must be up in the friend safari now, at least for safaris with all 3 Pokemon unlocked. Every shiny I have found there has taken me under 1000 encounters, and when the friend is online, it has taken me under 300.

Anyway here is an unexpected Shiny Drowzee, just a teaser of the many shiny videos I have to be uploaded at the end of the month.

Lol. As soon as I walked into the friend safari, I encountered a shiny Drowzee. The same thing happened with Gothorita.

Nice one man! I'm really liking this increased shiny rate in friend safari. Just today, I caught a shiny Pupitar with a hindering nature (Sassy) and an almost perfect shiny Frogadier (Timid but no Protean ability! Damn! So close)

Even with the increased chance, it is still heavily luck based. I encountered the two mentioned above after 10 mins of searching the grass. 946 REs is ridiculous lol

Are you sure that the shiny charm doesnt affect the safari?
50% of my hunts are over 1000...

Why is encounter's always showed as REs in titles?  How does that stand for encounters?
