I keep hearing current Akali in game say "The fist of shadow was my mom. I do things differently". And the nickname of old Akali was The Fist of Shadow... Ofc, the lore was changed, but for us the viewers, I think you could see the old Akali as the current Akali's mother.

PS: I will forever miss the old Akali's running/walking animation... Holding the two kamas, with her two passives (Twin Disciplines), red and green. I will never get over the way the new Akali walks... :/

I used to be one of those people that wanted Riot to revert Akali. Ngl, I still miss the old Akali but now that I look at it I feel like the old version is just ancient/obsolete. She wouldn't have survived throughout all the meta changes. The reworked Akali is far from perfect, but at least now she's more fun to play and brings more satisfaction when you master her.

New akali is like Different champion, old akali has Heal from passive, reworked akali has it but now was dissapear, they give us a hope like when you play akali you can dive the enemy before level 6 bcs she invisible in her Shroud but now her Shroud is not make any sense

And i was stop playing akali after that all then i start to play katarina then Riot also nerf her. Its like riot really-really hates me. Both of my main is getting nerf so sad

noooo, I only met the new Akali because I started playing in 2019, I have put many hours into the champion and I do not want them to reverse it

think a bit about new players )))):

what we could do is ask for a new champion, the previous akali as the fist of the shadows. This way they would be two different champions and the new players would not be so affected.
