You could also add SAT*Over1500 variable to see if the slope of the gpa scores of the people who have scored higher than 1500 in SAT exam is different than the people scored less

Hi, Love your videos. Could I ask why the slope above and below the cutoff must be the same? A priori I don't see a technical reason for it: e.g. a scholarship could boost GPA at different rates for people of different ability/SAT score.

Hi. Thank you for this video. I have to apply RDD in a real life problem and I am not able to understand how to do it. Our intervention is a training program at district level which will help correct and more identification of a particular disease. This disease is defined by a value which is less than a particular no. Now my intervention will focus only on those individuals in the city who have value below that no and above that no will become our control. We will collect data on both baseline and endline for all invididuals in the district. I just know what my cut off point is. Rest is unclear.

In the regression, do we input the entire data or only for those who we locally decide are 'similar' on all accounts other than X?
