The Guitar Picks of John Mayer:

3) BlueChip TD 35:

This video takes an in-depth look at the various guitar picks used by John Mayer over the years.

Since John Mayer burst onto the scene in the early 2000s, we have seen him use plenty of guitar picks. However, I've done some research and broken John's guitar picks down into three different brands.

The time span in which he used these 3 different guitar picks is sketchy at best. However, he has with 100% certainty, been known to use these 3 guitar picks featured in this video.

Join me as we delve into the world of guitar picks from famous guitarists.

I suspect John's relationship with Tomo Fujita was responsible for his use of the Pickboy. Pickboy is Japanese and Tomo has a personal relationship with the owner and promotes them. Pickboy celluloid is good; arguably they and D'Andrea make the world's best. Blue Chips are amazing, and are simply better than everything else that exists. They are in a class by themselves. It's not hype; they really are that good. The material is a space age polymer used in high tech engineering and it performs better in every category than literally everything. They even will last basically forever, because the material doesn't wear. It's magical stuff. Not sure the pink ones are Blue Chips, because the fancy material only comes in brown.

the tortex are actually closer to $0.40 per pick. even cheaper if you buy them in bulk (72 pack)
