Using Band Logos On T-Shirt Designs - Copyright Law Explained For Print On Demand

Is it legal to use a band logo on our t-shirt designs? Does it infringe copyright law? I explain my understanding of this situation in this video.

What if I wanted to create my personal shirt that has copyrighted logos and brands but I dont sell it or make it any profit from it. Will i get copyrighted or such for making my own shirt with a logo not made by me for just wearing it? Sorry if this is a dumb question, this is all really new for me.

whoever created the logo holds the copyright, unless the creator was an employee of the business at the time or the designer agreed in writing to give the copyright to the business as part of the sale.

Well- what if you wanna make something custom using their band name? Not to sell, but just to wear for own personal use?

In short: Are you talking about the name of the band or the design (logo)? Here´s a tricky one: If you don´t use the logo-design but create your own logo-design of the band which is "far away enough" to not be infringing the design from the original logo-design, would that be allowed? You´re still making money by using the name of the band & the reputation the band built, right?
