My sister had very pale skin and there were very few if any foundations that worked for her. It goes both ways, the number of skin tones not to mention undertones is extensive. Stores are only going to sell what's frequently bought within a certain area and if it's mostly tan/medium skin tones, that's probably because most the people in that area have it. In Asian countries im sure there's no shortage of pale/light foundations that would've worked great for my sister! Just as I'm sure the opposite is true in places where people have predominantly dark skin.

Flying to Canada for foundation is kinda crazy but I don't think the comments understand the full scope of what she's saying. It's not just about makeup it's about being forced to go the extra mile just to feel represented in the world that you live in.

These comments do not understand at all 😭 Flying to Canada is not the focus. Yes, it’s make-up, but that’s not the only issue. The make-up represents every other thing that is not provided for certain ethnicities because of the lack of representation. I cannot believe the lack of sympathy all because it’s about make-up and she mentions flying to Canada. Look. At. The. Bigger. Picture.
