President Trump is doing exactly what he promised during his campaign. I agree with this 100% and support it. The institution of the order may not be the best, but he and his team are working out the kinks. It is better to be tough in the vetting process than risk letting in terrorists who wants to kill us. The days of Obama are over, no more putting foreign lives over that of American lives. And yes my family and I were immigrants to this great nation 30 years ago.

Vetting and violating basic human rights are two different things. You can't violate someone's first amendment and justify it because of terrorism.

The President already had the upper hand and could have taken i=his time to make sure the policy was worded properly and would not expose the entire ban to being defeated in court.

To be fair: Bill mentioned Sweden and a "myriad of problems. The problems were due to the high numbers of refugees. Last year about 160 000 refugees entered Sweden compared to 85 000 to the US, to a country that just passed 10 million inhabitants. The problems were that there were basically no shelters nor personell available to offer a decent reception. Still, Sweden haven't restricted immigration nearly to the standard of US immigration rules even, before Trump's muslim ban.
