CHOEY G - RIVERS LIVE

So, here is my Original song 'Rivers'! This is the first time I have played this 'live' and recorded it. It is a motivational song about not wasting time and making the best of what we have. The first verse is a message to myself (yourself) reflecting on those times in the past where you just couldn't get up and going, and being lazy I guess! Talking to myself here haha. The second verse is a future version of myself (yourself) talking to yourself (does this make sense?) tell yourself how to better yourself haha!!! I just realized that this sounds funny so I left it in! Basically, it is an empowering song to let you know that you can do anything and to enjoy the moment, and get after something that is meaningful to yourself!

The chorus is aimed at a sing along section, and I was actually sent a brilliant video of lots of my friends playing this song at a wedding party, and everyone was singing it and jumping along! It was so cool to see, and actually quite emotional! I loved seeing that :)

My arm injury has been improving. Of course, there are a few mistakes here and there - but hey that's what a live performance is about right! ;)
