It’s alright looking at new train sets however green they are but if there is no track and infrastructure for them to run on what’s the point, the Plans yet to be officially confirmed of cancellation of HS2route to Leeds and the billy bodging around of the Manchester to Leeds New line via Bradford just shows that when money is tight the railways always suffer first, cutbacks, cancellations and economies .look at East coast electrification, done on the cheap and now the consequences loom every day, ,why oh why don’t we just go for it, cross rail2cancelled, I wonder how many true reopening of lines will actually happen, pre varication costs money, I’m no fan of Scottish government but look at the number of new lines have reopened, I wonder 40 brand new hospitals?50000 new nurses?, why are we always taken in by this, get cracking Mr Shapps, insist that these things go ahead or resign as a matter of principal, and by the way use british, steel use uk built locos and rolling stock, get investing in manufacturing, can be done, passed the new Siemens plant at Goole last week, it can be done just needs determination and nouse!

Boris Johnson is getting fat! Nothing to do with Network Rail I know, but it was the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw him at the start.

As you have reopened the Dartmoor Line to Okehampton in North Devon. Will you be working on to reopening the former Portishead line that closed in the 1960s and a new railway station at Portishead to open.

With plans to build new stations including a new railway station at Pill and a new railway station at Ashton Gate that is near to Ashton Gate stadium (Bristol City FC) and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. When is it due to reinstated and reopened.
