Purina Pro Plan Puppy (Under 1 Year) for Gruel

Gruel is wonderful for very young puppies. Our basset hound pups eat it all. Okay, they step and lay in it too (check out other videos for that.

We use Purina Pro Plan Puppy (under 1 year) food to make our gruel. Gruel is porridge in texture and depending on how much water you add, can be thinner or thicker.

Point here though is to make sure you get the correct toe of Purina Pro Plan. We found out there are two styles but not obvious on the bag. For gruel you need the non-shredded type. It’s just the small hard kibble that breaks up well with water.

I used Purina Pro-Plain for my basset hounds, when they were puppies, top. It is indeed good food. You have all the ingrediants your puppy needs to grow into a healthy adult dog. A good advice, Mr Bailey..
