I’ve never tried the Fuji, so I can’t give an educated opinion on that camera. I just recently purchased the Canon M50 and so far I am very impressed. Video is great in 1080p....would I like to see the dual pixel autofocus in 4K..sure...but in the end..the camera is just a tool..it is the person behind the camera that produces the photograph. The stills from the M50 are in my option excellent. My advice is to find the camera that fits your particular needs...go to a camera shop and hold both of them. See how they work and feel in your hands..You can look at tons of video from tons of different people and that’s great....but I think once you get your hands on both of them..one will definitely jump out as the one for you.

The person that commented on comparing these cameras. Why is this even an argument? The Fuji is double the price of the M50 and has fewer features. A better comparison would be the M5 but it lacks the tilt screen and 4k. But the M5 has a more rugged chassis and more hand controls. But just in feature+image/ $$, the M50 has the Fuji beat Plus you can get an aftermarket adapter and use any EF lens you want. win-win.

I was hoping you emphasize more on the Video and photo quality, ultimately thats what is important.

Agreed. Predominantly video - M50. Predominantly stills with some video - X-T20.

Hi I was thinking of getting the 200d or 800d but I’m not sure if I should wait till the end of the year to see what Canon brings out🤔👍🥇🔥

XT20 has amazing lens selection, M50 doesn’t —> easy decision

M50 has no lens, well no good lenses anyway and how you didn't mention that has me stumped.

Sony A6500 smashes them both. Just an fyi
