I had a work life outside the public retirement system, and I paid my share of payroll taxes to the SS fund. I earned a public pension while working in the public sector. I paid into both pensions...I am NOT greedy, nor am I a "double dipper".

Only benefits government employees not the tax payer who actually payed into Social security 🤔 🙄

Pretty neat. I only have one "Social Security Work Credit" to this date. Will this change mine? Probably not. Still cool.
