This is my machine and I bought it for all the same reasons you mentioned. I absolutely love it. The 2 bar of steam pressure is awesome but people who only do small amounts of milk or who are still learning microfoaming techniques may be better off with the lesser 1.5bar setting. If you're not quick enough...2 bar can heat the milk up too much before you've even got the air into the mix that you need. That's my advice for newbies that buy the machine. Of course if you're confident and know what you're doing...crank it to 2 bar straight away.

One last tip aswell....upgrade the steam tip to a 4 hole unit. The 2 hole one leaves a bit to be desired.

Got this machine more than a year ago, in part due to this video. It’s a tank. Performs excellently and I plan on continuing to love it for years to come.

I have an old ECM Giotto. Still solid as a rock and pulling great shots. My latte art is mostly hit and miss. Usually Garlic and wonky tulips. 😎🍮👍

Love the wooden knobs. Do you offer a package as well for the flow control version or will you in the future?

Please clarify - Is it not possible to pre-infuse when the machine is using the internal reservoir by partly lifting the brew lever? Not much good if you can't. What is the machine height with the reservoir door open - no good if it can't comfortably open under normal height kitchen cupboards.

Su you are staying pre-infusion is only possible if the machine is plugged in . . . is that correct?

How would you rate the ECM Synchonika against Lelit Bianca, Quickmill Vetrano 2B Evo and more expensive machines like the La Marzocco LM and Rocket R Nine One?
