Some interesting Info about the picture of the Native American gentleman sitting in front of the phonographic recorder! His english name is Mountain Chief, his Blackfeet name is Ninaiistako. He belonged to the Kainai (Blood) Band of the Blackfeet Confederacy. that specific band of my people were known for their ruthlessness, aggressive and fearless warrior attributes hence the name Blood Band, he was a chief of that band during some point of his life time he was know for his ruthlessness against our enemies. Born in 1848 and died in 1942 at the age of 94. My family stems from one of his sons on my mother’s side.

Bonga singing in Portuguese and traditional Angolan languages. His tracks are a mixture of Portuguese folk sounds, semba, kizomba and latin elements.
While Angola was still a Portuguese colony, Bonga was an outspoken supporter of independence.This led him to be exiled from Angola in the early 1970s.

Now....He remains fiercely dedicated to the ideal of nonviolence, he states simply: "We must live without harming others."

i know this song (in this remix) for quite a while now - it never fails to deeply please me. It's sad actually, the lyrics being about injustice, but it's far from the feeling of giving up ... a great inspiration! To me, certainly one the best pieces of music ever crafted.
