Linear and logistic regression are algorithms of machine learning and used by data scientists.
These are supervised techniques where linear regression is used for predicting continuous variables and logistic regression is used for classification.

The least squares graph is incorrect imo. The drop lines from the points to the diagonal line should be perpendicular to the diagonal line.
