My friend Klara just told me about this song and video and how it touched her. In 1996 I was sentenced to life in prison. But in 2018 God intervened and gave my life a whole new direction. After 26 years in prison I am not only freed from the power of sin but also the physical prison. Praise God For his grace, mercy, and restoration. Amen!

I was an alcoholic heroin addict over 10 years, homeless and in and out of jail for violent behavior. I overdosed on heroin and died for 5 minutes. Paramedics (and God of course!) brought me back to life. I serve our Lord now. I'm off drugs and alcohol and haven't been arrested or back in prison since 2009.
I'm on that straight and narrow and have been set free. Thanks be to God. Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Amen

I have been sober, for over 28 years – honestly I stopped counting, I earned my doctorate, got married, and teaching in a college and loving Christ.

I've never smoked, drank or done drugs. I've never assaulted anyone and I don't have a criminal record. I sometimes feel like my struggles aren't important because they're not as major as others. I have my own issues that I'm working through. I know I'll get past them with God's help and His strength. I just stumbled onto this song the other day. Tears started flowing when Beth and Cody hugged. No matter how big your problem is, God is bigger and He will allow you to be victorious.

My 2 year old grandson found this on my list. He sits very quietly and just intently watches this video. I never seen him sit so content. He watches it on my phone, every visit. He looks for it. About 27 years ago I was walking along with a woman who had been speaking to me about Jesus for, I don't know, a few months? I stopped suddenly as we were making our way and very frankly told her that I actually did want to follow Jesus but couldn't because I knew I would be unable to quit sinning. Her answer, "Is that all? You are right, you can't, but Jesus can as you turn your life over to Him and trust Him." It suddenly occurred to me that she was right, that if Jesus was who He said He was, that He could deliver me from my life of sin. That was the start of a new life of walking free. Thank you Jesus! I've never looked back.
