I am a piano teacher in Austin, Texas, and have in the past year started a tradition of opening each student recital with a performance of this piece, because I hope that no matter what dreams my students may pursue in their lives after they finish piano lessons, they will always come back to this transcendent piano piece we have been graciously given as humans on planet earth.
