This is a demo of the new Fender Champion 20 Amplifier. It features 20 watts of power into a custom-designed 8" speaker. The Champion 20 features one channel (much like the Blues Junior) with a voicing control to give you a variety of tones.

I wish more dems were as good as this, actually showing what the amp can do instead of being an ego trip for the guitarist

Best review yet on this amp. Finally someone who shows amp capabilities instead of showing off their metal playing abilities. Thanks much.

Finally a demo that glides visually and sonically through each setting without endless talking. Thanks.

I have a F.C. 20. I used it to play a guitar solo and national anthem in front of an audience of about three hundred. I set the volume no higher than 4 and it kicked. I highly recommend it.

Someone asked me to demo this amp, instead I sent them here. :)

this video is what sold me on the champion 20. it's small footprint. variety of quality sounds (tweed and BF). and yet simple (no weird buttons or screens). and only $100. thank Shane! great stuff.

Just bought this. Super value! The amp modeling is what sold me. Built in effects, not so much but works great with my pedalboard.

I like how you cover all bases and different genres of music even if you don't play them on the regular you still show what the amp is capable of I appreciate it thank you

Best workout yet (that I have seen) for the Champion 20. Mine is on the way, and I'm glad I chose it after watching you give it the once-through! Thanks!

I just bought this amp and coupled with the Zoom G1on pedal, awesome! Used it on stage at a small gig. Did great.

Tone comes from the player. This guy has it. Cheap equipment can sound amazing in the hands of a good player. Great vid!

Best practice amp on market for under a $100. Simple to use and has all the right effects. The Mustang II is $119 but way too complicated for a room practice amp. The Champ is the way to go. I traded my Mustang in for the Champ.
Good review. Thx

I got one these a year and half ago. I thought it was a great little practice amp with all the effects built in. I ended up buying a blues deluxe four months ago. The blues deluxe sounds much better (especially when the volume gets loud) but it cost 5 times as much and I had to go out and buy a bunch of pedals just to get the sounds I was use to. I still use this amp when I want to play somewhere and not have to lug the blues deluxe around. Kids and beginniners have it good these days. When I started playing in 1993, I had a little 20 watt Goriliia solid state that sounded terrible.

The fender amp voices sound as good as 90% (and better than some) of tube amps that around 4x's more expensive. I actually mic it when practicing and use monitors. It's easier to deal with than my bf bassman, twin and even blues jr because you don't have to crank the crap out of it to get good tones, which means less bleed.

I was using this amp to demo guitars at my local GC. I was so impressed with it that I brought one home with me!

For such a small amp it doesn’t sound small. Its modeling is very good, and the range of tones you can find are excellent. As a practice amp it goes above and beyond, and it’s very usable for jams and small gigs. The weakest link for the amp are its effects, but they still get the job done well enough. For the price, you can’t beat it!

I am very happy with mine: the sound quality, easy use and especially the price. Just wish in the Owner's manual they had something; (maybe some sort of equalizer visual representation: scooped, high mids, etc) or description of the voices. I personally don't know the difference between a '65 Deluxe and a '65 Princeton amp. I guess I can research it, (and of course listen myself). But would rather have known ahead of time. Thanks.

I remember playing this beast during a performance at jazz camp I went too, I can definitely say this has enough clean headroom to be played over an entire jazz band. For those jazzers out there ;). 189 Dollars you can''t go wrong

First of all, I have the 20 watt Fender Mustang 1 v.2 and everything that goes with it (it had only 2 optional accessories, a Fender-branded one button footswitch and a fits-like-a-glove cover).
A 20-watt amp that has a ton of built-in effects including chorus, distortion, echos and a lot more.
