“Burdens of sovereignty “ “oh Lord, another banquet?” “I hate this palace, can’t we go to the other one?” “What? A ten minute wait for surgery ?” “This dress was a bargain, only £51, 000”. “I think I’ll have the State Crown adjusted for my coronation.”

Great portrayal of young Henry VIII. He was skilled at jousting and had two major accidents that could have claimed his life. Thanks, Jon 👍🏻💖

Henry was an extremely intelligent man that was a true product of the Renaissance period. He wrote music, such as the song Greensleeves and poetry and had a very sharp political mind. Unfortunately I believe that in the jousting match in which he lost consciousness he suffered a traumatic brain injury which altered his personality from then on. If not for his obsession in having a male heir and destroying the church in order to achieve that goal, England would be a much different place than it is now.
Please keep these shorts coming, they're amazing!
