I don't understand some people disliked this video
What is there to dislike, this boy is awesome. He will be star soon

For all the idiots out there, he is not cheating because he elbow is firmly on the table, and he is not relying on his whole body to move the opponents arm. This is a legal rule. If it wasnt, how did he make it to the tournament with officials watching. Exactly

to clear things up. using your body wieght, pulling opponents hand towards yourself a little and bending to side is completely legal. Its a technique to gain momentum and leverage. Not using your body weight would end up a broken arm. Also pushing your feet against the table stand is legal. And adjusting your wrist, like wobling them is also legal.
so yea. even if your not realy that strong, technuiqe is also a game changer like any other sports.

wew that was long

People who think he's cheating are thinking of what's called "bar arm wrestling" and assume that's the real way to arm wrestle, it's not. It's a good way to break your arm.

First off it's impossible to use your whole body weight as you must at least keep one foot on the floor at all times. Second, just because you can use different muscles and body parts doesn't mean that it shouldn't be called arm wrestling. There is still a tremendous amount strain that goes on the arm from arm wrestling. Even if you use your body, which you're supposed to, your tendons will not follow you if they're not strong enough.

People who think using your body, bending your wrist, pressing down, or any other move that is deemed "cheating" by casual bar arm wrestling clearly have no idea of the rules and proper techniques of pro arm wrestling.

Here's what I'd like to make mention of. I've never lost an arm wrestling match in my life. And I didn't just randomly do it. I've always been really really good at it and never lost. Meaning, that I have went out of my way to challenge people throughout my entire life and always remained unbeaten usually the bigger and stronger they looked the more appetizing the win At this point, after I finished being a Marine and got out honorably, I happened to fall upon NYC apple grapple. nyawa. I competed twice. First competition I went amateur and didn't place. Out of three matches I won one. Amazing because I've never lost before in my life. To lose twice in a day was unfathomable. About a year later I showed up again . I took silver medal with both right and left. The gold medalist in my weight class was like 60+ years old, and it humbled me, the experience. Why am I saying this? I remembered Alex from my first competition. Left handed killer. When I came back and competed the second time, placing with both left and right, I had a chance to talk to him and befriend him. Nice guy. Awesome dude. After the competition, I pulled with him. Beat him right, was obliterated with the left. Even though I also compete, I'm a big fan of the sport
On this channel alone I've seen him go against Bagent and Brzenck. An awesome competitor, when I introduced myself to him, he gave me the time of day, and willingly spend time not only competing, but advsing me on strategy and the likes. An awesome guy. I'm glad to see that he has a younger brother who's good with his right. God Bless. Maybe we can train together one day soon to make each other better

Its crazy how many people are commenting negative stuff without even knowing a single thing about professionnal armwrestling... Yes professionnal this is not your average joe or a school match between two children. Know the rules and techniques before saying anything. You guys just look so stupid to the community of armwrestlers right now... Im cringing so hard... Im speaking for all professionnal armwrestlers, you are allowed to bend your body in order to gain mommentum on the opponents hand and arm, if you are not able to support your own weight in this mouvement your arm WILL open. For exemple many armwrestlers are able to do a one hand pullup or a "statichold". This kid is strong as hell, you guys are hating on him without knowledge of the basic mechanics of the sports. Bunch of keyboard warrior.

The amount of people thinking using leverage is cheating is astounding. The rule about having the elbow on the pad prevents it from being cheating. If you allowed elbows to lift up or extreme kings moving, that is the only unfair way to exploit body position.

You dont have to be buff to destroy in arm wrestling, its all about the technic and this dude has got it down really well
