Incase anyone is wondering you have to transfer the armour to the dog but then you also have to click apply, which should show what button to click at the bottom

Dont come here early in the game for dog armor. There’s gunners on the bridge near sunshine CO & a Behemoth near the cars. He’s walking you into a death trap.

They really should have expanded this in the ability to make armor for dog meat matching some of the armors of the game like leather armor, Raider armor and Combat armor. I have a mod that does the and my God he is just adorable.

I HIGHLY suggest going to Vault 81 early in the game and buying the “Overseers Guardian” you’ll need high charisma or 4 fusion cores to get in.

it may cost 1, 500 caps to buy so take grape mentats to lower the cost and use day tripper for charisma.

That gun takes .45 rounds it’s gonna save your life for starting out.

I have the Dogmeat figure that comes with this armor (and a replaceable head) and it is awesome. They absolutely nailed it, so happy I grabbed it when it was available

I give him heavy dog armor in addition to a helmet, and if I find one; a "Stars and Stripes" bandana!

He is everfaithful.
He is ever present.
He loves you.

The Sole Survivor would be wise to return the favor.
(Even if he may be a Synth.)

I just equip Dogmeat in welding goggles and a red bandana. You can find both on top of the dresser in the upstairs portion of the first house on the right when heading into Concord.

Dog armor actually does nothing to add protection. Its purely cosmetic.
